Although fans admire how perfectly he fits the Reacher persona, the actor revealed that he must undergo daily tattoo concealment before filming starts.
Tattoo Cover-Up Ritual on Set
The BTS clip shows Ritchson entering the makeup trailer for what he jokingly calls “magic tattoo removal sorcery.” Since the actor has tattoos on both arms but his character doesn’t, makeup artist Kat Crisp conceals them daily. He even trims his arm hair so the makeup sticks better.
Ritchson also teased fans by sharing a funny text conversation with Crisp about getting a neck tattoo, to which she replied, “I quit.” He laughed, admitting he tried to make her quit.

Meanwhile, new set photos confirmed Sydelle Noel as Jack Reacher’s new love interest in Season 4. She plays Tamara Green, a New York homicide detective. Production is underway, with the season adapting Lee Child’s 2009 novel Gone Tomorrow.
