Critics of Prince Harry in the U.S. and the U.K., who sought his deportation, encountered a setback following the unveiling of newly discovered documents from the Trump administration.
Recently revealed documents indicate that Prince Harry might hold an A-1 diplomatic visa, enabling him to reside in the United States for an unlimited duration, as per reports.
The immigration status of the Duke of Sussex has been a topic of discussion since he acknowledged his previous drug use in his memoir “Spare.”
The Heritage Foundation, a conservative group, filed a lawsuit to compel the release of Harry’s visa application, claiming that drug use might be a valid reason for denial. A judge declared his records confidential in March.

“According to immigration lawyer Melissa Chavin, the A-1 visa is vetted and issued by the Department of State with minimalinput from the Department of Homeland Security,” shetold the Daily Mail. “I would assume that Prince Harry held an A-1 visa each year of his life.”
Chavin clarified that every visa is valid for five years and allows multiple entries during an “indefinite duration of status,” which refers to the period he stays near becoming the King of England. “To him, that encompasses his entire existence.”
Another specialist referred to this visa as a “golden ticket” enabling Harry to stay in the US indefinitely.
