Jennifer Lopez caught attention in Los Angeles with an unexpected appearance at her ex-husband Ben Affleck’s production company, where she was seen affectionately embracing renowned director Ridley Scott.
The 56-year-old singer and actress, who completed her divorce from Affleck earlier this year, was spotted arriving at her ex-partner’s business headquarters. The outing fueled renewed speculation that a work partnership between the former couple might be forthcoming.
Lopez was accompanied by Ridley Scott, the renowned director known for hits like Gladiator and Alien. The two shared smiles and a side-hug in the parking garage before going their separate ways, suggesting a potential future project.
For the meeting, Lopez showcased her signature glamorous style, donning a rich burgundy velour ensemble with a cropped jacket and wide-legged trousers. She styled her outfit with a crocodile-embossed clutch, bold gold rings, and maintained a refined appearance with beach waves and a smoky eye.
Her visit occurred just days after news emerged that she continues to live in the $68 million Bel-Air mansion she formerly shared with Affleck, even though the property was listed for sale last year.
Although Affleck, 53, didn’t appear during Lopez’s visit, he was photographed over the weekend with his youngest son Samuel, fueling speculation that he and Lopez still have a friendly relationship post-split. Affleck has earlier commended Lopez’s relationship with his kids, calling her “amazing” and “a wonderful person of integrity.”
The On The Floor star maintains a strong bond with Affleck’s children Violet, 19, Fin, 16, and Samuel, 13, from his union with Jennifer Garner. Lopez is the mother of 17-year-old twins named Emme and Max.
The ex-couple, who married in 2022 and divorced in January 2025, have kept a blended family atmosphere despite their separation. In 2023, Lopez acknowledged that the change was “an emotional transition” but described it as “one of the best years” of her life.
Lopez is currently occupied with her forthcoming movie Kiss of the Spider Woman, co-produced by Affleck and Damon through their Artists Equity label. Affleck is also slated to appear in The Rip, a Netflix action film debuting in January 2026.
