Five Terrorists Eliminated in Khuzdar IBO: ISPR.

Security personnel neutralized five militants associated with the Indian proxy group Fitna al Hindustan during an intelligence-driven operation (IDO) in Khuzdar district of Balochistan.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that the operation commenced during the night of September 14 and 15 after receiving information about militants in the region. “While carrying out the operation, our forces successfully targeted the terrorists’ position, and following a fierce gun battle, five Indian-backed terrorists were eliminated,” the statement noted.

The ISPR stated that weapons, ammunition, and explosives were seized from the killed militants, who had been “actively participating in various terrorist operations” in the area. A cleansing operation was in progress to eliminate any lingering dangers from the area. The statement confirmed that Pakistan’s security forces, aligned with the nation, are steadfast in their commitment to “eliminate the threat of Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country” and hold its offenders accountable.

The Khuzdar operation comes after a number of significant counter-terrorism operations nationwide in the past few days. Earlier, five soldiers, among them a captain, attained martyrdom in an IED attack in Balochistan’s Kech district, after which security forces eliminated five militants of Fitna al Hindustan in a subsequent operation. Only a day prior, security personnel neutralized 31 militants linked to the Indian-backed Fitna al Khwarij group in the Lakki Marwat and Bannu regions of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

These actions followed a broader campaign that resulted in the deaths of 45 militants and the martyrdom of 19 soldiers in Bajaur, South Waziristan, and Lower Dir. These consecutive actions emphasize Pakistan’s escalated efforts against militant organizations, with the ISPR consistently pointing out the role of Indian proxies and the participation of Afghan territory in recent assaults. The military has emphasized that its determination is strong to eliminate terrorism and establish enduring peace in the area.
