Court Denies Ducky Bhai’s Bail Application in Gambling App Matter.

The Lahore Sessions Court rejected the bail request of well-known YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman, famously known as Ducky Bhai, in a matter related to the endorsement of unlawful online gambling applications.

Additional Sessions Judge Sajida Chaudhry had previously set aside the decision after listening to the arguments from both parties. On Thursday, the court revealed its ruling, denying the YouTuber’s request for bail.

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has filed a case against him, claiming he was involved in promoting gambling apps, such as Binomo.

Detention at Lahore Airport

Ducky Bhai was apprehended by authorities at Lahore airport on August 17 while trying to leave the country. His name had already been added to the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL), preventing him from exiting the country.

After his arrest, the YouTuber was transferred to the NCCIA for a two-day physical remand. The court instructed investigators to provide a comprehensive report on the case in future hearings.

Allegations by NCCIA

The NCCIA asserts it has obtained proof of illegal payments associated with online gambling promotions. Authorities claim the YouTuber deceives the public via his channels and participates in money laundering schemes.

Authorities also disclosed that a smartphone confiscated from him had questionable WhatsApp contacts, information, and payment evidence associated with gambling promotions.
