DUBAI: Dubai International Airport has introduced the first-ever AI-powered Smart Red Carpet Corridor, allowing travelers to finish immigration procedures in just seconds.
Faster and Smarter Immigration
The sophisticated system removes the requirement for passports or boarding passes, enabling as many as 10 travelers to go through at the same time. Now located in Terminal 3’s Business Class Departure Hall, the service is anticipated to transform the passenger experience.

Officials state that the Smart Corridor is especially advantageous for families, as it reduces wait times and streamlines the immigration process.
Expanding the Smart Corridor Across Terminals
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) Dubai states:
“The Smart Red Carpet Corridor is an innovative service that finalizes immigration processes in mere seconds. Plans exist to extend this facility to all terminals moving forward. Our aim is to improve Dubai Airport by adding more digital services.”
The initiative highlights Dubai’s dedication to establishing itself as one of the top global destinations by leveraging digital technology and artificial intelligence to enhance travel ease.
