Dubai Dispatches a Second Relief Airlift to Support Afghanistan Affected by The Earthquake.

Dubai has sent a second humanitarian airlift to Afghanistan in under a week, providing essential assistance to communities impacted by a recent earthquake.

The effort, coordinated by Dubai Humanitarian alongside the Global Humanitarian Impact Fund (GHIF), seeks to deliver rapid assistance to individuals in urgent need, According to WAM.

The plane loaded with 39.8 metric tons of vital supplies took off from Dubai heading to Kabul on Sunday morning. The delivery consists of tents and shelter packages, essential household goods like kitchen sets, and crucial medications.

Estimated at over $315,350 (around AED 1.16 million), the support is anticipated to help more than 50,000 individuals in some of the most severely affected regions.

This comes after an airlift that was finished last Monday, which delivered 84 metric tons of assistance for four UN agencies.

Both missions underscore the UAE’s continuous dedication, via Dubai and Dubai Humanitarian, to aid international relief initiatives and guarantee that prompt support reaches communities impacted by the earthquake in Afghanistan.
