Louis Partridge expresses pride in being recognized as Olivia Rodrigo’s boyfriend.
The Enola Holmes actress, 22, who initially ignited dating speculation with Rodrigo, 22, in October 2023, opened up about their relationship in a Friday chat with Variety.
Partridge expressed to the outlet that he feels no embarrassment in being recognized primarily as the Grammy winner’s partner. “I am capable of managing that.”
The House of Guinness actor also responded to the nickname “Mr. Olivia Rodrigo” that pop star fans have assigned him, mentioning he has held it for “quite some time now.”
“I’m quite content, and I believe she is as well, so everything is fine in our realm.”
He also reminisced about seeing Rodrigo headline the 2025 Glastonbury Festival, where she caught him off guard with an onstage shoutout.
Partridge confessed that the moment overwhelmed him when, while introducing So American, she revealed to the audience that she composed it while “falling in love with this boy from London,” as reported by Parade.
“I was unaware that [the shoutout] would happen, but it was a delightful surprise and a pleasure.”
The British actor later commended her performance on Instagram after Rodrigo’s tribute on stage.
“I trust you saw Olivia’s performance yesterday evening.” An exceptionally remarkable performance on such a grand scale. She put in tremendous effort for it and couldn’t be more worthy of all her achievements and the wonderful audience that was present. “What a time #glastonberry.”
