Host and comedian Tabish Hashmi is said to be making his film debut alongside stars Mahira Khan and Fahad Mustafa.
Sources revealed that Pakistani cinema is poised to experience a significant comedy film produced under Fahad Mustafa’s production company, Big Bang Entertainment.
Fahad Mustafa, noted for his blockbusters such as Na Maloom Afraad and Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad, is making a return to the big screen in a leading role, once again pairing with Mahira Khan. The duo, following their success in Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad, are coming together for another much-awaited project.
Tabish Hashmi’s Big-Screen Debut
Renowned for his clever humor in stand-up comedy and his hit program Hasna Mana Hai, Tabish Hashmi has often expressed interest in acting. This upcoming film marks his first appearance on the silver screen, making it a highly anticipated debut.
In an Eid special interview earlier this year, Fahad Mustafa had disclosed that he was working on two films, expected for release in 2026 and 2027. He confirmed, “I’m involved in two movies. One will come out in 2026, and the other in 2027.”
The comedy film will be the first major project of Big Bang Entertainment, written and directed by Bilal Atif Khan. Industry insiders are already praising the script and direction, with high expectations for its impact on Pakistani cinema.
On Instagram stories, director Nabeel Qureshi praised the main cast, writing: “Blockbuster hai bhai!!! Many prayers and hopes @blah_atif make us proud @filmwalapictures & @fizza_meerza.”
