Hollywood star Tom Holland, known for playing Peter Parker, was injured on set while filming the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’.
The 29-year-old actor began shooting the film last month in England and Scotland. On Friday, September 19, Holland was taken to hospital after a stunt went wrong at Leavesden Studios in Watford.
Reports say Holland suffered a head injury after a fall and was treated for a concussion. A woman, believed to be a stunt double, was also taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Although Holland’s representatives have not commented on his condition, his father, Dominic Holland, confirmed the injury during a recent public appearance. He mentioned that Tom will be taking a break from filming for a while to recover.
The upcoming fourth film in the Spider-Man franchise is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and stars Tom Holland alongside his fiancée Zendaya. The cast also includes Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, Liza Colón-Zayas, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Mando, and Tramell Tillman.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled for release in cinemas on July 31, 2026.
